Handmade silver chains

All chains in this collection are made by hand in fine silver, unless otherwise noted as sterling.  Fine silver is 99.9% silver while sterling silver is made up of 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper.  Because fine silver doesn't have other metals, it tends to not tarnish as easily.  Fine silver is a bit softer than sterling, but when formed and woven into chains, is very strong.

Each link is cut from wire, shaped, fused, further shaped and woven together to form the chain.  It is then further worked and trued to ensure it has as much consistency in shape as possible and moves smoothly as a chain should. As it is made by hand, there may be some slight differences between links. The final chain is then tumbled to make it shine.
